This is not the kind of service we want you to experience, @Lcan. Let me chime in so you can use the recurring transactions seamlessly in QuickBooks Online.
I agree with what my colleague mentioned above. The recurring transaction templates may be the reason why the program cannot recycle transactions properly. With this, I recommend deleting these transactions and recreating them. Before doing so, ensure you review the contents of the transactions carefully before deleting them to avoid any mistakes.
Next, you can start recreating the transactions. Since you don't want the Scheduled recurring transactions, you can choose the Unscheduled or Reminder in the option.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Recurring Transactions.
- Click the New button, then select the transaction type in the dropdown menu.
- Select OK.
- Enter the Template name.
- Select an Unscheduled or Reminder in the Type dropdown menu.
- Fill in the necessary fields, then select Save template.
Moreover, here's an article that will help you manage your recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online. It shows a list of these transactions along with the accounts they're linked to: Review your recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You're always welcome to comment back if you have other questions about managing your recurring transactions or have other QuickBooks-related inquiries. The Community will always be ready to lend you a hand.
