Let me make it up to you by ensuring you'll be able to log in to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Desktop App, H_A.

Upon checking here on my end, there are no similar cases or ongoing investigations about the error message you've encountered. In this case, we can perform some troubleshooting to rule out the possibility of having issues with your QuickBooks App.

We can uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Desktop application. Doing so can achieve a clean installation that resolves any app-related problems. Let me show you how to do it.

  1. Open the Windows Start menu. Search for Control Panel, then open it.
  2. Select Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program.
  3. From the list of programs, choose the version of QuickBooks you want to uninstall.
  4. Tap on Uninstall/Change and then Remove.
  5. Hit Next.

To reinstall:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online from a web browser.
  2. Go to the Gear Icon, and select Get the Desktop app.
  3. Hit Download for Windows.

For additional details about the process, check out this article: Download and use the QuickBooks Online Advanced desktop app.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They can run a remote viewing session to help identify the root cause of this matter and apply a fix.

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Select Contact Support Team.
  4. Type again Talk to a human and click Contact Support Team.
