Banking
Let's get this working so the details in the memo field will appear in the bank transaction, SPSPSP.
I mark-checked the "Copy bank detail to memo" option to test it out, and I noticed that the bank details were automatically added to the Memo section once the transaction was added to the bank register.
It's possible that there's an issue with your browser, which may be preventing the memo details from being successfully copied to the added transaction. Have you attempted to use a different browser to see if that resolves the issue? Additionally, you may want to switch to an incognito or private session to see if that helps.
If not, use these keyboard shortcuts to start an incognito or private browsing session:
- Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
- Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge
After logging back in, please navigate to the Banking page and verify if the bank details are being saved in the Memo fields.
Return to the regular browsing session and delete your temporary internet files if they show up. Here's an article as a guide: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues Using QuickBooks Online. Or you can use a different browser for a better browser experience.
I wanted to share some articles that I found helpful when managing my banking transactions. They cover various topics, from matching, categorizing, and reconciling the transactions.
