I understand the importance of batch editing your entries, Bizguy.
Reclassifying or moving multiple transactions at once is only available in QuickBooks Online Advanced and Accountant. If you aren't using any of these versions, I recommend manually moving them. I'll show you how:
- Go to the Gear icon and then select Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the account, then click View register under the Action column.
- Find and select the specific transactions, then click Edit.
- In the transaction window, change the correct account in the Bank Account drop-down menu.
- Click Save to complete.
- Repeat the process to move all the transactions.
Alternatively, you can invite your accountant to perform the process:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
- Go to the Gear icon and then select Manage users.
- Select the Accounting firms tab.
- Enter your accountant’s email address, then select Invite.
