Error 163 occurs when there's a change in your bank's website, and the bank's financial institution's data needs to be updated to support the new website.  

 

If I may ask, can you confirm which financial institution you're experiencing issues with? We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide additional information, as this will help us deliver an effective solution.

 

In the meantime, you need to log in to your bank's website directly using a web browser to ensure the site is functioning and your login credentials are accurate.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Accounting tab from the left-hand menu and click on Bank Transactions.
  2. Choose the bank account that requires its sign-in information to be updated.
  3. Click the pencil icon located on the bank account tile.
  4. Select Edit sign-in info.
  5. Update your bank username and password, then click Save and connect.
