Banking
Let me shed some light regarding your concern, Theta2023.
Bank error 102 indicates that your Financial Institution (FI) website may be undergoing maintenance or have server issues. Thus, it stops the online banking connection to QuickBooks.
Let's perform a manual update to re-establish the connection. Here's how:
- In your company, click the Bookkeeping or Banking menu and select Transactions.
- Go to Banking and select Update.
If you continue to get the same result, follow the recommended steps in this article: Bank errors 102 and 105. Then, proceed directly to the Check your bank or credit card's website section.
If none of the suggestions work, I encourage contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team. One of our specialists will help you sign up to the list of affected users. You'll receive an email once there's progress in the investigation.
To get the contact details:
- Hover your mouse to the Help menu in the upper right to see more options.
- Go to the Assistant tab and then enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something field like online banking error.
- Click the Contact Support menu to display the How would you like to connect with us? Screen.
- Press the Contact us button to start a conversation.
For the support hours and types in your region, see this article: How and when can I contact Support?
In the meantime, manually upload the entries into QBO. Then, classify them to the correct category type for an easy reconciliation process.
