QuickBooks New Email Receipts Feature... Auto Forwarding Guide...
The new email receipts feature looks great!
My plan was to put filters on my email - so when an email came from "PayPal" or had the word "Invoice" or "Receipt" in it -- it automatically sent it to "[email address removed]"
BUT gmail is evil when it comes to forwarding emails. You have to click a "verify link" - so its not possible with quickbooks, you would need to "login and click the link in the [email address removed] email, which isnt possible)
So - to get around this - you need to sign up for a hotmail/outlook account - forward your gmail emails to outlook.
Then in outlook go to "inbox rules", and create a rule that forwards your emails to [email address removed]
(You cannot simply enabled "forwarding" - as it doesn't work)
And add this new email as the account email for your quickbooks account.
It's a bit complicated - but now all my invoices are automatically emailed straight to quickbooks.
If you use gmail - its the only option i could find to do it

Banking
I have looked at this also since the QBO system requires a registered user email as opposed to a company wide email.
I did try creating a Zapier Zap to get the email from Gmail with the attachment using the search facility for an invoice name in the subject body and then send an email direct to [email address removed] with the original invoice attachment
