Banking

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to successfully delete the duplicate bank entries in QuickBooks Online (QBO), AlwaysLearning66. Let us guide you through the process.

May we know the name of your bank? This way, we can better isolate the issue if there's one. To better isolate the issue, we can access your QBO account in an incognito or private window. This allows us to determine whether the problem is due to browser caching. Too much data stored in the browser causes inconsistencies that affect your account's performance. Using a private window helps to verify the issue as it doesn't save any data.

To open a private window, you can refer to these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome browser
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browsers
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari browser

Then, remove duplicate transactions in your bank feeds again. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Choose the affected bank account, then in the For Review tab, tick the duplicate transactions.
  4. Press Exclude.
