Thanks for joining the thread, Matt. We'll share details about deleting the company and starting over again inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we dig deeper into your query, please know there are things you need to consider when deleting QBO data and starting with a clean slate. If the account has been active for 90 days or more, know that the option to delete data isn't available. In this case, you'll need to cancel it to start over again. You can visit this page for further guidelines: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.

However, if your account is less than 90 days, the option to wipe out your data to start over again is available. We'll write down the steps below to get you going:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account. A reminder, you must be signed in as an admin.
  2. Once you're signed in, open this link. Alternatively, you can go to the URL in your browser's address bar, delete all the text and enter the following web address instead: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  3. To confirm you want to delete your company data, type Yes.
  4. Select OK, then Wipe data.
