Banking
Let me share with you on how you can include these transactions and reconcile your account, treasurer.
QuickBooks relies on your bank on what transactions they'll download in your books. Can you confirm if you recently linked your bank account? In addition to this, I recommend signing in to your bank website and verifying if there were any issues with the integration between your bank and QBO. Sometimes, delays or errors can occur during the data transfer process.
We can manually update your bank account. This troubleshooting helps to refresh the connectivity between your bank and QuickBooks. Here's how:
- Click Banking on the left panel.
- Select the right account.
- Click the Update button.
If you encounter the same thing, please inform me of the name of your bank so that I can check additional resources here. In the meantime, you can manually import them into QBO. To do this, you'll need to download the transaction data from your bank in a CSV file format.
- Go to the Bookkeeping or Transactions menu.
- Within the Banking tab, click Upload transactions.
- Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
Once done, you're ready to reconcile your account. The articles below will serve as your guide in reviewing your transactions in QuickBooks.
