Let's work together to change your business type in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Portcon.

In QBDT, when changing your business type after setting up, a warning will indicate that all your accounts will be deleted.

Since you've already set up your business type, please ensure to back up your company file to avoid losing your important data .

Once you've back up your file, follow these steps to change your business type: 

1. Open your QBDT account.
2. Go to the Company menu and select My Company.
   
3. Click the Pencil icon and choose Report information.
4. From the drop-down option, you can select your business type accordingly.
