You can install QuickBooks Desktop on your computer first if you haven't done so. Then, follow these steps:
- Open QuickBooks Desktop.
- Open QuickBooks Desktop, navigate to File, and select Close Company. Keep QuickBooks Desktop open while completing the steps.
Next, sign in to QuickBooks Online and download the migration tool.
- Log in to the QuickBooks Online account you want to convert using a supported browser, ensuring you use your Intuit Account credentials.
- You will be directed to the Export Overview page. Take a moment to review it, and if needed, you can print it out for reference. Click Get Started to proceed.
- Download the QuickBooks Desktop migration tool by selecting the Download tool option.
- Once the tool has been downloaded, open it to start the installation process and click Next.
- Agree to the terms of the license agreement and select Next.
- Choose Complete as the setup type and then click Next.
- Finally, click Install and then Finish to complete the setup.
