Account management
I appreciate you specifying the error you encountered, @pbmasuka. QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) may have password restrictions that prevent adding your Tangerine Bank account.
QBSE connects to banks via secure feeds, which may not accept Tangerine Bank passwords that exceed 12-16 characters. Please ensure your password is 8-12 characters long and includes both letters and numbers. Avoid using spaces, emojis, or special characters such as #, &, %, or @.
To update your password, log in to your Tangerine Bank account via their website or app and create one that meets these criteria. Then, try reconnecting your Tangerine account to QBSE.
In the meantime, you can manually add transactions from your Tangerine bank account to QBSE using CSV files. Once the connection issue is resolved, you can match these entries with the program's data.
Please feel free to respond with any questions or updates on your progress. We'll be happy to assist.
