I did what you instructed:
To begin exporting, you can follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the File menu in QuickBooks, select Utilities followed by Export, and choose Lists to IIF Files.
- Pick the specific list you wish to export and hit OK.
- Browse the location where you want to save your file and click Save.

- But, when I went to try and open this file (Quickbooks Import/Export File (.IIF) it won't let me. It states that only QuickBooks company files can be opened this way. How do I open it so I can continue the process?
