Your response does NOT address the issue. The process recommended does NOT apply. "Meanwhile, to successfully transfer the primary admin role, the last person assigned must sign into QB on line. 

 

(The last person assign has not been involved for six YEARS and is NO longer WILLING to assist. He tried updating and adding me as a primary on Friday yet was unable to follow QB guidance as there was no Action section with an ellipsis. It is now in my hands. The bureaucracy to fix this is mind numbing.  

 

You can share these steps with the last primary admin: Head to the Gear icon, then Manage Users. Look for the user to whom you want to transfer the role. If you haven't added them, ensure to do so. In the User Type column, ensure they are listed as Company Admin. If not, select Edit to change their role. Select the ellipsis icon in the Action section. Then, select Change primary admin. Pick Change primary admin again to confirm. Sign out of QuickBooks. 

 

Look at the account and see that my email address is correct, yet the NAME is NOT mine. My email address shows that I am the primary admin but not the proper name. How do I change the name only? Tried the above recommendation yet it does not work.
