We have the same problem, in 2024. We are a small non-profit, still using QB desktop at our accountant's recommendation because of the limitations of QBO.
Until 2022, it was possible to generate a complete report of donor contact info, donations, and a total, for any date you selected. We generated this year after year for year-end tax acknowledgements. Then the feature disappeared! Along with all the memorized reports from previous years! An upgrade erased all that.
Now, we too have to generate multiple reports, combine them in excel, and generate the letter to donors.
The memory that we used to be able to do it proves that such a capability could be restored.
I hope the QB designers are willing to make that correction.
