I understand the urgency of having to file the forms rapidly, HillaryW.
When the form filing's status is Transmitted, we already sent the form to the agency. The IRS handles forms within a couple of weeks.
To trace the filing status, I suggest reaching out to our phone support team. Here's how:
- Click the ? Help icon.
- Go to the Search tab, then select Contact Us.
- Click Ask about something else.
- You may type in I submitted the forms last January 02, 2024, but the filing status remains as Transmitted.
- Click Continue,
- Select either Chat with us or Schedule appointment.
