Account management
Good day, HugoSyd.
I understand how important it is for you to be consistent in printing to avoid wasting any of your purchased checks. Let me help and make sure you print those checks properly.
If the check still doesn't line up correctly with your checks, we can fine-tune your check alignment.
Here's how:
- Click + New.
- Choose Print checks.
- Select Print setup.
- Hit No, continue setup. Then click No, continue setup again. This opens up the check in an alignment window where you can adjust the margins to correct the alignment:
- In the check image window, drag the grid so the numbers are in the same place they appear on your sample print. QuickBooks will automatically adjust the alignment.
Note: The numbers on the vertical and horizontal fields are adjustable and tell QuickBooks exactly where to print the check amount. - Tap View preview and print sample after adjusting the grid. Then hit Print.
- Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
- Check the alignment of your sample against a blank check.
- Repeat the grid alignment process and print as many times as you need until your check is aligned correctly.
- Select Finish Setup.
If everything looks good, then you're now ready to print those checks. I've also added this link for more details: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.
I also recommend reaching our Support Team so they can check and investigate further about this check alignment problem.
Let me know in the comments section if you still have other concerns about printing checks in QuickBooks Online. I'll be around if you need me. Take care.
