I’m here to provide some insight in assigning a class to products by batch in QuickBooks Online.
The Batch actions feature does not include assigning a class to Products and Services. You'll have to edit the items and add them one at a time. Here’s how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Products and Services.
- Look for the item and click Edit on the Action column.
- Assign a class by clicking the Class drop-down.
- Hit Save and close.
You can also manually assign a class to a specific product/service when creating an invoice. Let me show you how:
- Create an invoice.
- Assign a class for your product/service under the Class column.
- Hit Save and close.
