Absurd problem. QuickBooks alternates between forcing a text message verification, then not needing one. I've not changed locations. I'm not using a VPN. I'm not even switching devices, yet now suddenly I'm back with the problem of needing a text verification with *every* login.
I wish Intuit staff would read the history of this thread and see how all of the technical support answers fail to address the basic nature of the question: customers do NOT always want a text message verification.
Yes, multi-factor is Off. No, I don't have time to chat or call in. Why can't I submit a support request via email, if that is the inane solution you're proposing?
Someone at Intuit, please listen and post an actual response about this irritating problem, which adds extra time to just doing my books, forces me to have my phone nearby, and is not conforming to the options menu in the Intuit account settings. ARGH. I can't tell what's worse, the actual problem, or the dismissive non-answers from 'Support' staff who can't be troubled to actually read the thread they are supposedly helping with.>:(
