I appreciate you joining the thread and posting your concern, @Dragan1961. I’ll help you locate the Preferences tab in QuickBooks Desktop to modify the date of your transactions.
As provided by my colleague above, here are the steps to modify the date and select a default date in your QBDT setting. I’ll be adding screenshots for your visual preferences. Here’s how:
- From the Edit menu, go to Preferences.
- Go to the General tab, and choose Use today's date as default from the Default Date To Use For New Transactions section.
- Tick OK to save.
