Account management
Hello there, imani123.
I appreciate your input on the solution shared on this thread. The result will direct the specific troubleshooting steps we need to take so you can gain access to your account.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) utilizes the browser’s cache to make it run faster. When it becomes corrupted, it causes unusual behavior such as buttons not working properly, and login issues, to name a few.
The incognito mode, or InPrivate window, allows you to browse the web without saving your browsing history. As an initial troubleshooting solution, sign in to your account via any of these sessions:
- Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- Safari 11 or newer: Press ⌘ + Shift + N.
- Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.
If you can access QBO without any errors, shift back to your regular browser and clear the cache and cookies. Doing so will enhance the overall performance of the application. If the issue persists, utilize a supported browser to open the online program and log in from there.
For additional resources, feel free to browse this article: Fix common sign-in errors in QuickBooks Online. It includes instructions on how to access your account directly to the official site and add QuickBooks as a trusted site.
