Account management
Hi, @metalman23.
I appreciate you joining this conversation. Allow me to jump in and help make sure you can turn off the two-step verification in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I can see that you already turned off the two-step verification in your QBO settings. However, as mentioned by my colleague Jovychris above, we still have multi-factor authentication or MFA that allows you to receive the code by email, text, or call.
The MFA is a security enhancement on top of the usual password requirement. When you log in, we send you a one-time confirmation code through your email or mobile device. The option to turn it off is currently unavailable. The MFA may trigger whenever you sign in to an incognito window or after clearing the browser's cache and cookies.
For more information about the two-step verification and/or MFA, consider checking out this article: Verify your QuickBooks Online account with multi-factor authentication or two-step verification.
I also recommend visiting our website for more tips and other resources you can use in the future: Self-help articles.
Please leave a comment below if you have additional questions about this or anything else QuickBooks. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. Keep safe.
