Account management

I ended up just cobbling together a few spreadsheets. Unfortunately it's so convoluted that it's not even something I can share the template with, as you literally have to be the person who made it, to use it :(

My accountant was annoyed, but I couldn't care less. It's one thing to offer a rental subscription for software, but entirely another thing to go in and disable software that was already purchased. I honestly hope that intuit just goes out of business because of their horrific anti-customer attitude. I've read through the replies from the "quickbook officials" in this thread, and it's blatantly obvious that they are well aware of what the company is doing, and as well, they have NO intention of every improving or innovating the product in the future, I mean, why would they, you HAVE to pay them yearly just to use your own software.  I'm still using a copy of (I think) Office 97, because M$ went to the rent-to-use platform even before intuit. I'm just done with companies TELLING me how to use the products that they want me to pay THEM for.   Same thing for any other financial software. Why go to the $$ and time to learn anything else, when that company may well try gouging customers like intuit did. Hell I'll go back to green ledger paper if I have to. Imagine 3M trying to rent you a stack of paper with a yearly subscription. Customers must step up and say ENOUGH until companies remember that they are nothing without our income.
