I appreciate you for reaching out to us here in the Community. Allow me to chime in and share information about viewing the business and industry type in QuickBooks Desktop.
I've checked the thread and understand you're referring to the industry when creating a company file (see screenshot below). Currently, the ability to view what you've chosen during the interview process is unavailable.
Once you've selected your industry type, the system will create the default accounts automatically. You can view other information like the Income Tax Form and other details under My Company, but the industry type will not show.
As long as your chart of accounts is accurate, your company file should be fine. The purpose of the industry is to help you create the accounts and relate them to the type of business you're operating in QuickBooks.
