Account management

I'm here to make sure you're able to enter the pin and password, @Mark.

To get started, let's ensure that you Update your QuickBooks to the latest release and download the latest tax table updates. This is to avoid any issue upon entering the pin and password.

Then, you can now enter the 4-digit EFTPS PIN and password when processing e-pay in QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Employees, then select Payroll Center
  2. Select the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. In the Pay Taxes & Other Liabilities section, select the liability to pay, and select the View/Pay button.
  4. Review the liability details for accuracy.
  5. Select E-Pay.
  6. Select E-payment as your payment method, and hit E-pay.
  7. Ensure that the Remember My Information for next Time box is checked.
  8. Enter your 4-Digit PIN and EFTPS Internet password.
  9. Enter any other missing information.
  10. Click Submit.

Also, when making tax payments in QuickBooks, you'll be given an option to save your EFTPS password. QuickBooks will remember the information the next time you make a tax payment.
