Account management
Thanks for posting this here in the Community, @Carolexx. Let me share some information about your concern.
For you to be able to access your account on Desktop/Web without the Two-factor authentication, you will have to access the device where the code will be sent and then disable or turn off the two step verification. To begin with, these are the few simple steps:
- Log in to your Intuit Online Account.
- From the left menu, select Sign In & Security.
- In the “Two-step verification” section, select Turn off.
- Enter the code, then select Continue.
For more details about Two-step verification, you can refer to this article.
In case it is impossible for you to have an access of your phone for some reasons, I recommend checking out with our Support Team. This way, we’ll be able to review the security settings of your account and then check the program if it is still requiring you to enter a code.
Here’s how:
- On your Desktop/Web QBO, go to the Help icon.
- Select Talk to a human from the Here are some ways to get started section.
- Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar.
- Choose I still need a human, then click Get help from a human or Contact us.
- Select Chat with us or Have us call you.
Also, I recommend visiting our Data and Security page to help you manage your information and privacy settings in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to place a comment if you have other concerns with your QBO account. I'm always here to help. Stay safe!
