I appreciate that you've been looking for ways on how to export transactions out of QBO, @harpercreates-ma.
Currently, we're unable to export a CSV file from QBO. However, you can move transactions out of QBO to an Excel file. From there, you can change the file format to a CSV file.
Let me show you how:
- Go to the Gear icon and then select Export data under Tools.
- Go to the Reports tab and then switch on to export the following reports to Excel (these reports contain QuickBooks transactions).
- Switch off the lists from the Lists tab.
- Select Export to Excel.
- Hit OK.
Once done, open the zip file and run the a Excel file that contains a specific report. Click Enable Editing. Then follow these steps below to convert the Excel file to CSV:
- Click File and then choose Save As.
- Select Documents folder.
- In the Save as type drop-down, select CSV (Comma Delimited).
- Click Save and Yes to confirm.
That should point you in the right direction. I've also attached an article to check other options for exporting QBO data: Export Data out of QuickBooks Online.
Also, if you wanted to backup your data there apps in the QuickBooks App store that provide continuous backup.
Let me know if there's anything that I can help with exporting transactions or data out of QuickBooks. I'm always here to assist. Stay safe and have a wonderful day!

Hi! We use a 3rd-party tool called Skyvia, which allows us to export Quickbooks data to CSV (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/quickbooks-csv-file-import-and-export) on daily basis
Btw, it doesn't require coding knowledge and has a free version, so feel free to test it!

I used Transaction Pro for many years on my desktop. Just switched quickbooks and Transaction Pro to online only, No one can seem to figure out why I can't export files...When I am in Trans Pro, I log in with my Intuit account, When I click Export and enter the date range , it says "no data found". I had QB take over my computer and the agent is familiar with Trans Pro and could not detect any problems. The support people at Trans Pro have been utterly useless, Going on seven days now and no resolution. All I need to do is take my QB sales receipts and convert them into a csv file for my shipping company. Can anyone help me?

Is it easy to use and do they have customer support? I currently use transaction pro and recently switched to online trans pro and quickbooks online. No one seems to be able to figure out how why my transaction pro exporter won't pull my sales receipts in quickbooks. One week later and no one at Transaction Pro or QB has an answer, I'm beyond frustrated. The "support" at transaction pro is a joke,

Have you tried open your QBO account on private/incognito browser?

I’m using Google Chrome (QB recommended) and Transaction Pro allows me to import files, but not export my sales receipts from QB. Says “no data found”. Seriously considering scrapping that software and finding a different third-party software. All I need to do is take my sales receipts in QuickBooks and turn them in to csv files that I can send to my shipping company. It is the only thing I use the software for.. thank you for your response, beyond frustrated here.

QuickBooks recommended I use Google Chrome and everything flowed once I did that. In transaction Pro, I am able to import files but I am not able to export sales receipts. It says “no data found“. No one can figure out why. The only thing I need to do is take the sales receipts in QuickBooks and turn them into a CSV file that I can send to my shipping company. Seriously considering scrap in Transaction Pro And finding something else. Or manually creating my own CSV file daily. Thank you for your response

We haven't received any error notification from our client regarding this issue. Another option, replace your TPExporter with this app. Every time the Sales Receipt is created on your QBO, it will duplicate the data and send it to another app (e.g Excel 365, Google Sheet).

should we find a different accounting program?
Explore the exporter tool as I mentioned earlier. Otherwise, it's time to explore other accounting apps and consider purchasing a conversion service.
