Account management
Thank you for following up with us, @jskish.
I understand that some users aren't comfortable with multi-factor authentication. I'll also be sending the information to our developer team so they'll be aware of the feature needed. On the other hand, I would recommend checking out with our Support Team. This way, they can review the security settings of your account. Moreover, they can see why turning off the features is still requiring you with the two-step verification process.
To contact support:
- Open your QuickBooks Online account, then go to the (?) Help icon.
- Choose the Talk to a human option (then type it again when prompted).
- When asked by the bot, enter a short description of your concern.
- Select I still need a human.
- Proceed with Contact us.
- Click Let’s talk, then choose either Get a call or Start messaging.
For the support's business hours, I encourage checking out the details from this link.
I'm also adding these articles for more resources about the security settings of your account:
Lastly, you may visit our blog to stay current with our latest QuickBooks news and feature enhancements. Here's the link: The QuickBooks Blog.
If you have any other questions about the verification settings in QuickBooks, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm more than happy to help. Keep safe!
