Welcome to the community, @StopChangingThings.
In some situations, Quickbooks behave unexpectedly due to browser-related issues.
To confirm this, let's first use a private or incognito window. Then, perform necessary troubleshooting on your main browser. Here's how:
- Choose a default browser, then follow these shortcut keys to open a private or an incognito window:
- Chrome simply press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- Safari, press Command + Shift + N. Make sure you're using the latest version.
2. Log in to your QuickBooks Online.
3. Go to the Settings icon at the top right.
4. Verify if the Sign Out option is available. Then, click it to log off.
If that works, you'll need to fix your browser by clearing its cache. Here's a great article for your reference: How to clear browser cache and temporary Internet files?. A clean browser also makes the loading time faster.
If none of the steps above worked for you, I'd suggest you use another browser.
