I have never had my pc hacked to steel my data. How ever my data has been stolen from several of the big companies that store data online. QB is requiring a password just to make everyone think they are protecting you. As some point some hacker will had QB and everyone's info will be gone. I went back to QB 2014 to get around the password thing as it can be disabled. Been user since dos version and will never by another Intuit product even if I have to go back to ledger and calculator. Tired of companies controlling a product that I paid for and can not use.
