About QB Community

We hear your sentiments, @ecatwood. I understand if the price increase and discontinuation for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) have raised some concerns for you. Allow me to share some details about it.

We still provide support for our QBDT clients and products. For businesses with complex requirements, we recommend using the Enterprise subscription.

For QBDT Pro/Premier/Mac Plus subscription users, we strongly advise you to migrate to QuickBooks Online (QBO). We are focusing our innovation efforts there since it has several advantages over desktop, including remote access, increased flexibility, and real-time collaboration. We also take data privacy and security very seriously. We understand that your financial information is sensitive, and we want to assure you that we have implemented robust measures to protect your data. Our platform is designed with multiple layers of security, including encryption, firewalls, and regular security audits.

For those customers who opt to continue with Plus subscriptions, we will continue to concentrate on product maintenance and security.

Furthermore, we're aware that price increases are difficult. However, they’re necessary to offer the products and services you require today and in the future. Every year, we concentrate on giving you access to a safe and dependable product that facilitates the operation of your business.
