About QB Community
Hello, Wilbur79. I’ll share some information about modifying or deleting group tax in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Once a group tax is set up, it can't be edited or deactivated. Currently, we can only inactivate individual tax rates. Let me guide you on how to do it.
- Go to the Taxes menu.
- Select Edit rates from the Edit GST drop-down arrow on the Tax Center page.
- Choose the tax rate you want to inactivate.
- In the Action column, toggle the radio button to turn it off.
Furthermore, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. This will enable them to securely access your account and investigate why the individual tax names are not appearing on the invoice and not calculating the NET and Tax amount of the third item.
Here's how:
- Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.
- Select Talk to a Human.
- Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
- Click I still need a human.
- Hit Contact Us to connect with our live support.
- Choose a way to connect.
