About QB Community
I appreciate you reaching out to us, Spenno7. Let me share details to help you enter and manage the invoices sent to your customers.
In QuickBooks Desktop, having the ability to calculate custom duty tariff codes for each line item and being able to charge the customer with the total percentage multiplied by an input value is an excellent feature. As QuickBooks can't multiply numbers line by line, I understand the convenience to easily track and charge customers with the associated custom tariff codes. However, we can enter these totals in each line item manually. You'll have to enter the total amount directly per line item.
Additionally, you'll want to consider looking for a third-party app that will help you calculate and invoice a selected percentage by an input value.
Moreover, you can review and track your business finances and company accounting data by running specific reports.
Let us know in the comments below if you have additional questions or other QuickBooks-related concerns. We're always here to help. Take care!
