Thanks for sharing your concern with us, Chai Wanma.
The Microsoft Visual C++ error Library runtime error usually occurs when one performs activities in the Payroll setup, running a payroll check or emailing pay stubs.
The said error happens when there is a conflict between the programs. You'll want to contact your administrator to fix this.
Since this happens after the installation, let's try performing a clean uninstall/reinstall in Selective Startup.
Before doing so, make sure to create a backup copy of your data to avoid loss of information:
- In QuickBooks, go to the File menu and select Switch to Single-user Mode.
- Go to the File menu again and hover over Back up Company. Then select Create Local Backup.
- In the window, select Local Backup and then Next.
- In the Local Backup Only section, select Browse and select where you want to save your backup company file.
- Set the number of backups you want to keep. This is optional.
- This runs a test to make sure your backup file is in good shape before you save it.
- When you're ready, select OK.
- Select Save it now and Next.
Then, make sure you have a copy of your QuickBooks product and license information. To find this information, just press the F2 key after logging into your QuickBooks account.
