Let's enable VAT in your QuickBooks account so you'll be able to add it in your invoice. I can guide you on how to do it.
- Go to the VAT menu.
- Choose Set up Tax.
- Enter your VAT details.
- Click Got it.

Once completed, you can now create an invoice with VAT on it.
- Click the Plus Icon (+).
- Choose Invoice under Customers.
- Select the name of the Customer.
- Pick the Terms for the invoice from the drop-down list.
- Check the Invoice date and the Due date.
- In the Product/Service column, select the item or service.
- Enter item's Description, Amount, Qty, Rate, and VAT information.
- Click Save and close.
