Creating a recurring invoice transaction is only available for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Essentials and higher subscriptions. To successfully make one, I recommend upgrading your account to a higher plan. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Below the Profile column, select the Subscriptions and billing option.

- Pick Upgrade your plan inside the subscription tile.

- Find the subscription that best fits your business by clicking each description on the left side.
- Click the Choose plan tab once you spot the right one.

- Then, follow the on-screen steps.
