Buy nowWe hired an accountant to do our taxes. She has QB Desktop 2023 and has us set up as a Cash business. We also use QBO and are set up as Accrual. We are looking to merge her records with ours. What is the best way to do that?
Hi there, @DV-SK.
Good to see you here in the Community. I'd gladly assist you with your concern about merging your data.
If you want to integrate both data, consider looking for a third-party app that meets your needs. We're unable to suggest a specific app, but I'll show you how to look for one. Here's how:

Thank you for you time. My issue is we have no Desktop version so therefore no way to import the QBD backup. However, once we resolve that I will look into a 3rd party app that will merge. I was hoping QB had a way to do that, but it's an option. Thank you!
Sort of. Accountant was entering AR and we were recording both AR & AP. She also had us set up as a cash business and our QBO is set up as accrual. So merging might be messy anyway, but we are trying to avoid loosing data from either one.
You can use the trial version for QBD 2023 Enterprise to open the company file. Then use a migration tool to merge your data from QBD to QBO. i.e TP Exporter for Desktop and TP Importer for Online.
