Is there a way to set the default columns for reports run from Chart of Accts? EVERY TIME I run a report, I remove the "Cleared" Column and add the "Customer" column.

I run reports several times a day for different GLs, so the "Save As" function would not be helpful in my circumstance, unless I made one for every acct. I would like the column default settings to my needs so I am not changing the settings for every individual report run.

Running reports with your preferred customization is important for an optimized workflow, len.

The Account QuickReport provides a summary of transactions for a specific account in the Chart of accounts. While these reports can be customized and saved to retain your preferred settings for future use, I understand that this may not fully address your needs for running reports.

In this case, we recommend giving us Feedback. Your input is valuable and helps us improve the product to better suit your needs.

Let me show you how to send one:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Under the Profile column, choose Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  4. Click the Next button.

Alternatively, you can use the General Ledger report under Standard reports for a detailed view of all transactions in your Chart of accounts. It can be customized to suit your preferences, such as removing the Cleared column, adding the Customer column, and saving the changes.

I'm here to help if you have more questions about reports. If you have any other concerns, please add them to your reply.
