How do I import recurring invoices in Quickbooks online?

Hello there, @LKHforWZ.

Currently, we are unable to import a recurring invoice template or other recurring transaction templates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Also, before importing your customers and other lists in QuickBooks, please read this article: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.

After that, you can proceed with importing your customers. See the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Import Data.
  2. Select Customers and Browse to upload the file from your computer. Choose the file, and select Open.
  3. Or, to upload from Google Sheets, select Connect to sign into your Google account. Choose the file, and then Select.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Your Field column, select each small arrow icon. Then, match your field to the corresponding QuickBooks Online field.
  6. Select No Match if you have a field that doesn't have a matching column in your spreadsheet.
  7. Confirm your contacts. Uncheck any that you don't want to save.
  8. Then, if everything looks good, select Import.

Please refer to this article for details: Import customers or vendors from email contacts to QuickBooks Online.

I'm also leaving these articles for future reference in managing recurring invoices, autopay for recurring invoices, and customers in QBO:

Keep me posted if you have other QuickBooks concerns. I'm always here to help you.

How do I import recurring invoices in Quickbooks online?

Hi @LKHforWZ

Whilst it is not possible to import recurring transaction templates into QuickBooks Online directly there is a 3rd party app that does have the ability to take the recurring transaction details in an Excel or Text file and batch import that in.

It is called Zed Axis you can find it listed in the Intuit Marketplace and you can download a 30 day free trial so you can test out how this works there is also demonstration of the process on YouTube.

Hope that gives you another option.
