Should an unexpected error occurred message in projects clear up on its own?

Unexpected errors in projects won't clear up on its own, kserrano. I'm here to provide assistance to help sort this out.

Before that, could you please provide the specific error message you encountered and indicate where exactly the issue occurs on the Project page? Any additional information you can share would be appreciated.

For now I recommend performing some troubleshooting steps to help rectify the possible browser issue.

First, open your account in an incognito or private window for testing. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If you're able to manage your projects efficiently, you may get back to your default browser and clear its cache or use a different supported browser.

Moreover, you can check this article on how to handle labor costs and its profitability: Track hourly labor costs and profitability by project in QuickBooks Online.

If you need further assistance regarding the error message you received, don't hesitate to leave a reply below.  I'm always here to help.

Should an unexpected error occurred message in projects clear up on its own?

I started having this problem this morning. I've tried 3 different browsers on 3 different computers (Chrome, Safari and Edge), including the incognito/private mode. When I called Intuit support, they told me it is an issue "since this morning". I was also given a bunch of scenarios saying that they made back-end changes to the user types. However, I changed to user type to "Company Admin" and I still have the same issues. It looks like this issue is not since this morning, but festering for more than a year.

We are unable to create any invoices either. I feel so helpless with Quickbooks and their lack of proper support to resolve issues in a timely manner.
