Is there a way to enter just the starting check# when printing paychecks?

This seems so obvious, worked great on the desktop version.

Is there a way to enter just the starting check# when printing paychecks?

Nice to meet you, @lbs666. Let me guide you on how we can enter the starting check number in the Print checks section.

If you're done creating checks, we can proceed with how to print and enter the starting check number from the print queue. Just make sure that the paycheck is added to the print queue. If not you can go back to the checks you've created and the Print later checkbox or the Print check option adds it to the print queue.

Here's how:

  1. Click on + New and Print checks.
  2. Select the checking account that you created the check from the drop-down.
  3. From the Starting check no. field, enter the check number of the first check.
  4. Select the checkbox next to each check if you want to print.
  5. Then you can review it by clicking Preview and print.
  6. If everything is correct, select Print.
  7. Then Done.

In case you need checks sorted by number, you can customize the Check Detail report. Check out this article for the detailed steps: Print a report in check number order.

I'll be here if you need anything else. Take care always!

Select Align Checks. Print the alignment page on plain paper. Stack your printout on a piece of preprinted check stock. Hold them up to a light to check the positioning.
