Buy nowFor the life of me, I can not get this csv file to import into quickbooks. I have read all of the tips and tricks and can't figure out why its not working. Every time I try to import it says "WE CAN'T UPLOAD EVERYTHING FROM YOUR FILE-some info may be missing from your file." Please see attached file and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you,
A very stressed out quickbooks user
I can help you rectify the error message you encountered when importing a CSV file in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @jj33x.
This error can occur if the CSV file format is improper or the template does not fulfill the necessary requirements. Please keep in mind that the file size limit is 350 KB.
Shorten the date range and download transactions in smaller batches if the file exceeds the limit. Check to see this website to learn more about how to check the format: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Furthermore, missing information might be caused by a variety of circumstances. We can also think about the broken connection. Some transactions will not be downloaded successfully if there are connection errors during the download process. Certain things must be considered when importing your bank transactions.
Check out the additional pointers below that will guide you in reformatting your CSV file:
Please keep in mind that the date format is dd/mm/yyyy (01/02/20). I'd also suggest shortening your description so that the program can quickly read your bank transactions.
After verification, you can re-import your transactions in the proper format. More specific steps for importing your transactions can be found in the following articles:
Let me know if you have more concerns about importing data. The Community always has your back. Have a good one!
Another option, use csv2qbo converter tool as a workaround. It's $60 and a one time license.

Importing CSV files into QuickBooks Online is simple once your data is formatted correctly. Save it as CSV, check that fields like date, amount and customer match QuickBooks requirements, then go to Import Data, map the columns and upload. I’ve used Skyvia for larger imports since it runs in the background, handles mapping automatically and avoids the repetitive manual steps.
