Custom Form Subtotals on Estimate with QBO

Is there a way to break out subtotals for labor, parts etc at the bottom of an estimate? Something similar to this?

Custom Form Subtotals on Estimate with QBO

Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, CAMAV.

To add subtotals to estimates, you can use your Add subtotal option while creating or editing an estimate.

Here's how:

  1. From the Estimates screen, create a new estimate, or locate one and edit it.
  2. At the bottom of your Product or Service section, use the drop-down arrow next to Add Product and Service.
  3. Select Add subtotal.

You can now add a subtotal to your estimate.

If you need to customize an estimate further to include additional subtotals, you can review some of your form customization options in our Customize estimates article.

In the event you're unable to customize the form with the totals you'd like to see on it, you can consider submitting a product suggestion about adding this feature to QuickBooks.

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a great Thursday!

Custom Form Subtotals on Estimate with QBO

I know you can add a subtotal up in the estimate itself. We would like to have them at the bottom of the form like the example I attached.

Custom Form Subtotals on Estimate with QBO

Good evening, @CAMAV

Thanks for reaching back out and giving us additional information

If the steps above didn't give you the details you need for your business, I recommend using the link to try to customize it further to your satisfaction.

In the end, if the results aren't what you're looking for, we recommend submitting feedback to our Product Developers. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Press the Feedback option.
  3. Enter your suggestions.
  4. Tap Next to submit them.

Feel free to come back around if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day!
