Please know that in QuickBooks Online (QBO), projects can only be with one customer and that the option to have multiple customers for a project is unavailable.
As a workaround, you can run separate reports for each of your customers with their projects and then export them outside QBO so you can combine them all into one Excel file. However, before doing so, you'll want to consult your accountant to ensure tracking and merging your data safely and to avoid encountering issues. Once you're ready, here's how you can export a report outside the program:
Once you've got all the data you need exported, you can combine them. Also, if you wish to have the option to connect multiple customers to one project, we can help you send a feature request to our Product Development Team.
