Do others have trouble connecting QB to OCBC business account? I had no problem connecting until recently but appears OCBC are no longer a preferred bank to QB.

Do others have trouble connecting QB to OCBC business account? I had no problem connecting until recently but appears OCBC are no longer a preferred bank to QB.

QuickBooks Online is compatible with numerous banks, including OCBC. However, connectivity problems can arise due to updates on the bank's side or changes in QuickBooks' integration with bank feeds.

 

We recommend checking with your bank to see if there are any ongoing maintenance activities or system interruptions that might be causing the issue.

 

If your bank reports no issues, we suggest contacting our phone support team for further assistance. They have the tools and expertise to investigate the issue further and provide a solution.

 

To contact our phone support, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon.
  2. Choose the Search tab.
  3. Click the Contact Us button and enter your concern.
  4. Select Continue.

In the meantime, you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online to maintain your records.

Same here.  So I got onto a chat with Quickbooks.

I was told that it was a known problem.

Back end of Quickbooks was updated by OCBC that they are doing work at the bank to revamp the system.

Which means that there was nothing Quickbooks could do about it.

And Quickbooks does not know when this will be fixed.

And Quickbooks cannot tell me who to contact at OCBC to find out when this can be fixed.

See chat history until it became impossible to send anymore messages to the chat.

Does anyone have an idea how long this issue will last? 

Quickbooks is not able to pull data from that bank that is longer than 3 months.  So it is a concern.

And depending on how often the auditor looks at your books, it would be good to at least know a time line.
