Difficulty in performing a journal.entry.

I am trying gold to perform a journal entry from.quickbooks without any luck Please note I am using my mobile phone to achieve this .Once I have entered the journal page and attempt to press the account tab so I can enter relative account the chart of account appear only for 5 seconds and disappear of page ot enough time to perform entry tried numerous times in vain .cannot explain why this is occurring perhaps I should be using computer not phone.Any assistance or advice would be much appreciated .

The chart of accounts will disappear due to these factors:

 

  1. There could be a glitch in the app that causes the menu to collapse or close unexpectedly.
  2. A weak or unstable internet connection might prevent the app from fully loading the menu, which can also result in it disappearing.

 

To resolve this issue, close and reopen the QuickBooks app to fix any temporary glitches. Additionally, clear the app's cache through your phone's settings. This action won’t erase your data, but can improve the app’s performance. Make sure you have the latest version of the QuickBooks app installed from the App Store or Google Play Store.

 

To clear the cache in your QuickBooks Online app, you can follow the steps below:

 

  • Android - Select the Menu at the bottom and click the Settings icon. Then pick Refresh Data and choose Yes.
  • iOS - Tap the Menu at the bottom and click on Help & Feedback. Then select Refresh Data and Refresh.

 

To clear the cache in your phone settings:

 

  • Android - Select Apps from your phone's Settings (varies by device). Choose the QuickBooks app from the list and pick Storage, then Hit Clear data.
  • iOS - From your phone's Settings, choose Settings. Click on General and choose iPhone Storage. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space. To free up the Storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

 

Alternatively, you can also use a browser on your computer to create a journal entry. The desktop version of QuickBooks is more reliable for handling complex tasks like this. Its interface is optimized for detailed data entry and offers greater stability compared to the mobile app.
