when we try to create the bill in quickbooks intuit for custom documents, it does not show the full GST amount. Can we help us to clear this issue?

The custom invoice shows two GST components, one is relating to the GST for custom duty and Other GST amount for other charges but When enter bill in quicksbooks intuit, it only shows the GST on other charges but it doesn't show GST for the custom duty. HOW can we clear this issue?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @randeep-dhillon. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you regarding the GST full amount display in QuickBooks.

Invoices and Bills are fundamentally different transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This distinction affects how tax rates appear on each form:

In some cases, specific GST rates will apply to invoices but not to bills, reflecting the different tax requirements for sales and purchases. It could be why the invoice shows two GST components, but when entering a bill in QuickBooks, only the GST for other charges appeared.

What's more, an inactive GST rate won't appear on your sales forms. I strongly suggest checking your tax settings to ensure all necessary GST rates are active.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO account and go to GST.
  2. Click the Settings dropdown arrow.
  3. Tap the Edit rates option.
  4. Ensure the applicable GST rate is on.
