Unfinalized Payment summaries in ato

Our employees payment slips are showing as "Unfinalized" in their MyGov Portal. I have looked at the processes I followed in Finalization in Quickbooks and all looks ok. Any thoughts on any further step I need to take ?

Hi SarhG7,

 

Let's double check your finalisation event submission in your QuickBooks Online Payroll account to verify the status. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab and choose Reports,
  2. Click on Single Touch Payroll.
  3. Select the Financial year and Pay schedule.
  4. Locate from the list the Finalisation event and verify the status. Finalisation event should Successful status.

If it is showing Successful. Let's send notifications using the steps below.

 

  1. From the Single Touch Payroll page.
  2. Click on the Finalisation Event ID that was lodge to ATO.
  3. Click on Actions and click on Send notification option.
