I cannot setup GST. It gives me error: Another tax rate is already using this name. Please use a different name. (code: "INDIRECTTAX-11202").Can't see Rates in Settings.

I have setup LeadConnector before setting up GST, so it might have configured a GST Rate on the back end. When I go to GST > Settings, there is no Rates menu item, so I cannot remove it. What should I do?

We can view the tax rates by using the Edit rates button in the GST section and include the inactive rates to check if there's an existing tax rate name you wish to set up, Artem. Let me outline the steps so you can view your tax rates.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to GST, then select Settings.
  2. Click the Edit rates.
  3. Select the Gear icon and tick Include inactive.

 

If you can't see the same tax name, we can clear the cache to see if the issue is browser-related. Cache clearing can help restore the program to its default settings. Web browsers store cache to speed up loading data and images you frequently access. However, over time, this cache can become outdated and corrupt, leading to issues like this.
